Your tasks:

Engineering & Implementation

  • Implement and maintain tracking solutions (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insights, Piwik/Matomo, custom event tracking) directly in our React/Next.js frontend.
  • Extend and maintain data layers and event tracking frameworks for scalable analytics setups.
  • Manage and optimize Google Tag Manager (or alternatives) with a focus on performance and maintainability.
  • Implement and govern Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) to ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA.

MarTech Ownership & Governance

  • Own and manage the marketing technology stack, supporting marketing teams with segmentation, personalization, and channel orchestration (paid, email, push, in-app).
  • Define and drive a holistic tracking concept across server-side and client-side solutions.
  • Oversee and maintain integrations between various internal/external systems (e.g. product events, analytics, customer data sources, mobile/web).
  • Support and enhance the management of 1st party customer datawithin the marketing ecosystem, ensuring compliant activation across Braze and integrated systems
  • Collaborate with engineers and data teams to ensure high-quality data flows (events, user attributes, identifiers, etc.).
  • Document tools, processes, and cross-channel campaign logic; ensure platform hygiene, QA, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools and integrations that increase automation, personalization, and ROI across our customer engagement stack.

 

 

Your skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in MarTech, Web Analytics, Marketing Automation, or a related field within a digital or tech-first company.
  • Strong web development skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js or comparable frameworks for server-side rendering).
  • Solid technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, custom event tracking, and data mapping.
  • Familiarity with (content structure, plugin architecture, marketing integration touchpoints).
  • Proven hands-on experience with CRM and Paid Marketing tools. Experience with Braze, funnel and smartly preferred.
  • Knowledge of consent management platforms (e.g. OneTrust, Usercentrics) and privacy-by-design principles.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (Marketing, Product, Data, Legal, Engineering).
  • Comfortable managing both strategic topics and hands-on implementation.
  • Target group oriented communication: Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with CRM (e.g. Braze, Emarsys), paid media tools (e.g. Smartly, Funnel.io), consent platforms (e.g. OneTrust, Usercentrics), GTM, WordPress and middleware (e.g. Zapier, make.com).
